Do I have to create an account to make a purchase?
Yes. If you currently DO NOT have an account, you must Create an Account to complete your purchase on shopAAP.
How do I change the quantity in the cart?
In the Cart click in the quantity field. Change the quantity. Click Update Quantity button located at the bottom of the list of products. The quantity and pricing will be updated.
Where do I enter a promo code?
Promo codes are entered at the top of the Payment screen during Checkout. Enter the promo code in the field marked Do you have a promotional code? Click Apply. You will receive a confirmation message that your promo code has been applied, and the pricing will update.
If you enter the promo code, receive an error message, and the discount does not apply, please check the terms of the promotion, such as the start and end date, applicable products, and customer type eligibility.

How can I access my eBooks?
AAP digital products including eBooks can be accessed by Logging In and visiting your Library.
Online Access: You can view AAP eBook contents on any device (desktop, laptop, tablet, smartphone) that has an internet connection and a current browser.
Offline Access: Offline access (no internet connection) to AAP eBooks is available on Android or iOS smartphone or tablet devices using our free AAP eBooks reading app.
Offline access to AAP eBooks is currently not available for desktop or laptop PC devices.
If you would like to view AAP titles in other readers and devices such as Apple iBooks, Amazon Kindle, Nook, Kobo or E Ink, you must purchase the AAP title from that specific device or app supplier.

How do I access an eBook when I have an activation code?
- Log In
- Visit the Product Activation Center
- In the upper right Activation Code Box, input the Activation Code and click Submit.
- Your eBook will be added to your account and will appear in your Library
Please Note: It may take a few minutes to appear listed in your Library. If you do not see the eBook in your library within a few minutes, please try refreshing the Library page or log out and log back in.

How do I register for a live CME course?
A live CME course has 4 options for registration:
- Register online at shopAAP Live Activities
- Register via fax 847-228-5059

Who do I contact if I have not received confirmation of registration?
You may view or print your registration confirmation in My Account. Log In and click Education from the My Account menu; then click on the My Continuing Education link. Locate your activity and click on the Order Details under the corresponding CME course title.
Or contact registration at 800-433-9016 option 3 or 630-626-6000 option 3 (outside of United States and Canada), to receive a copy of your registration confirmation.
How do I cancel my registration?
Registration cancellations must be received in writing two weeks prior to the start of a course. Cancellation requests may be e-mailed to registration@aap.org.
Please include your name and the name of the CME Course. There will be an administrative fee.
As an international attendee, how do I obtain an official invitation letter for a visa?
For the National Conference, please visit our AAP Experience website to obtain a personalized invitation letter.

- Professional Information: Healthcare Designations, Other Designations, Profession, Employment, Medical School Graduate Country, and Specialties and Interests

You will be able to renew your AAP membership when a dues invoice is issued to your account. Log In and visit AAP Membership. If there is a dues invoice linked to your account, a button to Renew will appear. Click on the Renew button to begin the payment steps. You can also visit My Account > My Membership to check your dues status and to submit membership dues invoices for payment.
If you are a past member and would like to rejoin, click on AAP Membership in the upper menu and follow the on-page instructions.
How do I change the address the AAP uses to send correspondence to me?
Log In and click Profile. Under Contact Information select Addresses link. Click the Edit or Add button to update the necessary Address Information.
Correspondence will be sent to the address marked as your Primary Address.
How do I change the address of my practice that appear in the Find a Pediatrician directory on HealthyChildren.org?
AAP members will be able to view and update the information that appears in the Find a Pediatrician directory on HealthyChildren.org.
Log In and click Profile. Under Contact Information select Addresses link. Click the Edit or Add button to update the necessary Office Address Information.
All Office Addresses listed in My Account will appear in Find A Pediatrician on HealthyChildren.org.

How do I return a product or report a missing or damaged item?
Products must be returned within 30 days of receipt.
eBooks and downloadable products are non-refundable.
To initiate the return process, Log In and click Products and Subscriptions. Under Order History select View Order History. Use the Search Box and Filters to find your past order. Click on the Return or Report Missing/Damaged Item link on your specific order.
A form will open in a new browser tab. Fill in the form with your specific order details and click submit. Member and Customer Care will contact you in 1-2 business days with instructions for the return.
Please Note: The American Academy of Pediatrics reserves the right to alter the refund policy at any time. AAP will alter the refund policy for abuse that utilizes an excessive number or dollar amount of refunds.

How can I request review copies of AAP publications?
Review copies of AAP publications are available only in eBook format and may be requested by qualified instructors or committee chairpersons who wish to review for possible class adoption.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Subscriptions: Your first print copy will be delivered the next available month. If applicable, back issues will be sent to you separately. International delivery time for subscription issues will vary by country and are generally delivered in 8-12 weeks.
What happens if the product is out of stock?
If an item is out of stock (on backorder) or new and not yet in stock (pre-order), you will be informed of this status on shopAAP on the product page and at checkout. At checkout on shopAAP, standard shipping will apply for the item, and express shipping options will not be available. If you choose to order the item, the order record will be held in our systems until the item becomes available to ship. You will not be charged for the item until it ships.
After the item arrives in stock, standard delivery will be 5-8 business days from ship date to U.S. destinations, and 2-4 weeks from ship date for non-U.S. destinations.
How can I track my order?
Go to My Account and click on My Order History in the left navigation. You will be able to see your Order Details and UPS tracking numbers when applicable.
Can I ship to multiple addresses through shopAAP?
Each order using shopAAP allows shipping to only one address. To ship to multiple addresses, you can place multiple orders on shopAAP, or contact Member and Customer Care at 866-843-2271 or 630-626-6000 (outside the United States and Canada) for assistance.
How do I change my shipping address?
You can store multiple shipping addresses with your account record on shopAAP. However, it is not possible to change the shipping address of an order after checkout through shopAAP. If you require assistance with an order in progress, please contact Member and Customer Care at 866-843-2271 or 630-626-6000 (outside the United States and Canada).
Subscriptions: To change shipping address on a future print subscription issue, please log into your shopAAP account and navigate to My Account > My Order History or Products & Subscriptions > Order History; then use the filters to find the order containing the subscription that you would like to update.
From the corresponding Order, click on the Order Details link and then click the Edit Address link. Follow the prompts to update the shipping address, or call Member and Customer Care at 866-843-2271 or 630-626-6000 (outside the United States and Canada) or email us if you require assistance.

If you are placing an order to be delivered outside the United States, we encourage you to check with one of our international distributors.
