TIPP-C (Telemedicine Care Integrated into Pediatric Primary Care and Child Outcomes)

What is the goal of this study?
- To identify strategies for using telemedicine in primary care in ways that improve child health and health equity.
Summary of Study Design:
- Sequential mixed methods design using quantitative methods to characterize child health outcomes associated with telemedicine use and qualitative methods to identify factors that promote or impede improved outcomes through telemedicine.
Participants:
- Up to 75 PROS practices using OP or PCC EMR systems
- University of Pittsburgh’s Children’s Community Pediatrics
- OCHIN network of community health centers/FQHCs
- CHOP primary care practices
Study Duration:
- September 2022 – July 2027
Funding:
- NIH; Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health, and Human Development (NICHD)
