How will your implementation partnership interact with the providers who will be using the Bright Futures Guidelines for well-child visits? The models described below help answer this question. Each state or community will face a unique environment when implementing Bright Futures, so feel free to adapt the models to your own situation.
Implementation models that use performance metrics give providers the opportunity to earn MOC credits. However, these models may require up to 1 year of consistent data collection.
Implementation models include the following:
- Training for individuals, through group workshops, and by Web-based delivery (these models may include continuing medical education credits but do not result in MOC credits)
- Learning collaboratives
- EQIPP online modules
