Issue 5 - October 2024
As the leaves begin to change, we’re excited to share the latest updates from the PEPP program. Over the past couple of months, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) has been actively engaging with our community and showcasing our commitment at two key meetings, where we connected with numerous PEPP Course Coordinators and Providers. Were also excited to announce the release of a new Spanish PEPP Fact Sheet, designed to support PEPP courses in Spanish. Additionally, a new Neonatal Education for Prehospital Professionals Program Advisory Committee has been formed to develop a new neonatal curriculum for prehospital professionals. Issue 4 - July 2024
This issue highlights spring events, such as the recently held PEPP course at ACCREDITCON in Oklahoma City and the PEPP Steering Committee meeting, which took place at the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) headquarters in Itasca. AAP also announces a New PEPP resource, the PEPP Fact Sheet, an AAP expert interview on drowning with AAP President, Dr. Benjamin Hoffman, MD, FAAP,  a Pediatric Readiness assessment, and more.

Issue 3 - April 2024
In this spring issue, American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) kicks off the PEPP 5th Edition planning process.  EMS Week is right around the corner and AAP would like to thank all pediatric emergency care professionals. AAP also is excited to announce the release of the new Infant CPR Anytime® Training Kit and a PEPP course that will be held in Oklahoma City at ACCREDITCON this June where participants will have the ability to become PEPP Course Coordinators and begin teaching PEPP in their area.

Issue 2 - January 2024
This redesigned second issue features PEPP Associate Editor, Dr. Jennifer Anders, MD, FAAP,  who discusses the anxiety that comes along with treating pediatric patients and how pediatric simulations play a crucial role in EMS training. Additional highlights include a blog post titled, “Training to Care for Pediatric Patients,” from Dr. Rudy Kink, MD, FAAP, and two recently published research articles.

Issue 1 - October 2023
American Academy of Pediatrics is excited to launch this first edition of the PEPP Talk newsletter aimed at providing quarterly news relevant to prehospital professionals and pediatric emergency care advocates. This issue celebrates the 25th Anniversary of PEPP, and includes a PEPP video blog with PEPP Co-Editor, Mike McEvoy, PhD, NRP, RN, CCRN, along with two PEPP Customer Spotlight interviews.
