The Acute Flaccid Myelitis (AFM) resources are designed to increase awareness and knowledge among pediatric health care professionals about AFM and ensure the prompt recognition, diagnosis, treatment, and reporting of AFM cases in the US to local public health departments, as well as optimal care of patients with AFM.
