Abby Nerlinger MD, MPH, FAAP, is a pediatric hospitalist at Nemours/AI duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, DE, and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Sidney Kimmel Medical College/Thomas Jefferson University. She also serves as the Program Director for the Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship, will soon start as the Medical Director for Community Integration and Scholarship for the Nemours Value-Based Services Organization, and serves as the Nemours Site Lead for the Delaware CTR-ACCEL Community Engagement and Outreach Core. She currently sits on the Executive Committee of the AAP Council on Environmental Health.

Commander Sharyn E. Parks, PhD, MPH, is an epidemiologist with a background in mortality surveillance as well maternal and child health research. She is currently the Senior Epidemiologist and Data Manager for the Sudden Unexplained Infant Death and Sudden Death in the Young case registry program in the Division of Reproductive Health at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion. She is also an active-duty U.S. Public Health Service officer with 13 years of service.
