Scott Hadland, MD, MPH, MS, FAAP, is the Chief of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. He holds triple board certification in General Pediatrics, Adolescent Medicine, and Addiction Medicine. Dr. Hadland's clinical and research interests focus on adolescent and young adult substance use disorder prevention and treatment, and on improving care for youth and families affected by substance use. He is a member of the editorial board of Pediatrics and was the 2020 recipient of the Emerging Leader Award in Adolescent Health from the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Hadland’s research is funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and American Heart Association, among other foundations.
Rita Agarwal, MD, FAAP

Rita Agarwal, MD, FAAP, is a Clinical Professor of Anesthesiology at Stanford University School of Medicine. She has been involved with anesthesia, in particular pediatric anesthesia education, for more than 20 years. She served as the Pediatric Anesthesia Program Director for 17 years at Children’s Hospital Colorado and is now the Chair of the Pediatric Education Committee at Stanford. She is an attending anesthesiologist and inpatient pain management attending at Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital.

Hilary Brown, PhD, is an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto, in the Department of Health & Society and the Dalla Lana School of Public Health. She is also an Adjunct Scientist at Women’s College Hospital and ICES. Dr. Brown holds a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Disability & Reproductive Health. Her research program examines maternal and child health across the life course, with a focus on populations with disabilities and chronic illness, health equity, and the social determinants of health.
