Guest
Dr. Chineze “Chi” Ebo is a 3rd-year Pediatric Endocrinology Fellow at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC). Originally from the Philadelphia area, Dr. Ebo completed her undergraduate studies at Cornell University before attending medical school at the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University. She went on to complete her Pediatric Residency at CCHMC in 2022.
Dr. Ebo is deeply committed to advancing health equity within pediatric endocrinology, focusing on reducing health disparities and improving access to care for marginalized communities. Her current research explores potential racial disparities in the referral, diagnosis, and management of central precocious puberty, with the goal of identifying and addressing inequities that impact patient care.
Passionate about mentorship, Dr. Ebo also strives to increase diversity and representation of minorities in medicine, particularly in pediatrics. This commitment led her to co-found Next Gen Pediatricians, a national mentorship organization that supports underrepresented minority Pediatric Residency Applicants by providing guidance, support, and networking during the application process. Additionally, she serves as a fellowship trainee representative on the executive board of the American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Endocrinology, where she advocates nationally on behalf of pediatric endocrine trainees, patients, and their families.
