Abiye Okah, MD, FAAP, is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and on the faculty of the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. Dr. Okah is currently a staff pediatrician at the Broadway PCC Clinic of Children’s Mercy Kansas City, Missouri, where she is involved in supervising medical students and residents in the care of children in the outpatient setting. Her scholarship interests include implementing process change for improving the oral health of children. She also serves as a quality improvement coach. Dr. Okah is the lead author of a paper on oral health in primary care published in Pediatrics. She is an advocate for childhood oral health and serves as the Missouri AAP Chapter Oral Health Advocate (COHA).
Susannah Briskin, MD, FAAP

Dr. Briskin is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and is board certified in Pediatrics and Sports Medicine. She is the fellowship director for University Hospitals Sports Medicine Institute’s Primary Care Sports Medicine fellowship. She is the Medical Co-Director for Ohio Soccer Association and a team physician at Hathway Brown School, Ursuline College, and Case Western Reserve University. She is a fellow of the AAP and AMSSM and an elected member of the AAP COSMF executive committee. Dr. Briskin serves as the main author on the AAP Covid-19 Guidance: Return to Sport.
