She is a member of the AAP Committee on Infectious Diseases (COID), the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) influenza working group, and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG) Immunization Expert Group.

Dr. Meinzen-Derr, MD, PhD, MPH, FACE, is an epidemiologist and Professor of Pediatrics at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Her career goal is to improve outcomes in children who are deaf/hard-of-hearing (DHH). As such, she is focused on enhancing language, communication and social functioning, which leads to increased independence for children who are deaf/hard-of-hearing.
