Jesse Hackell, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatrician who practiced in Rockland County, N.Y., for 41 years until his retirement in June 2022.
He is chair of the AAP’s Committee on Practice and Ambulatory Medicine (COPAM) and has served on the executive committee of the Section on Administration and Practice Management (SOAPM). He is the immediate past president of Chapter 3 of the New York State AAP and serves as the chairman of the New York Chapter 3 Pediatric Council. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at New York Medical College.
He has extensive experience in practice management issues and has lectured at the AAP NCE and other forums on legal topics in practice management and practice growth and merger opportunities. He has co-authored the AAP Clinical Report entitled “Countering Vaccine Hesitancy” and numerous policy statements including Immunization Information Systems, Telehealth, and Adolescent Confidentiality.
Pearl Chang, MD

Dr. Pearl Chang is a pediatric hospitalist at Seattle Children’s Hospital and the University of Washington, where she attends on the pediatric ward and in the newborn nursery. Her research interests are in improving the care of young infants.
