Resources
The JPB grant-funded Addressing Social Health and Early Childhood Wellness project was a three-year project with the primary aim to use early relational health principles to screen, counsel, refer, and follow up at 90 percent of well-child checks ages 6 months to 5 years old for perinatal depression, social drivers of health, and social-emotional development.
One of the innovations of this work was the embedding of family advisors both at the practice and chapter levels. These family advisors worked to advance equity and family-centered care as two guiding principles of pediatric practice. Further, a suite of resources has been developed to help pediatricians embed family advisors and partnership in their own practices. Resources can be found on the STAR Center.
