Susan Wiley, MD, FAAP, is a developmental pediatrician at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and professor of pediatrics at the University of Cincinnati.  She has a clinical and research focus with children who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing with developmental disabilities.  She is the co-director of the CHARGE clinic at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and serves as the co-chair of the Ohio Newborn Hearing Screening committee for the Ohio Department of Health and has worked with the Ohio Center for Deaf-Blind Education.  She serves as the American Academy of Pediatrics liaison to the Joint Committee on Infant Hearing.

Erich Batra, MD, FAAP, is an associate professor of pediatrics and family and community medicine at Penn State College of Medicine, where his research interests are infant safe sleep and youth suicide prevention. He serves on Child Death Review teams for the state of Pennsylvania as well as Lebanon County, PA. He is also on the board of Prevent Suicide PA.
