Dr. Bernard A. Cohen is an Associate Professor of Dermatology and Pediatrics and the Director of the Johns Hopkins University Pediatric Dermatology and Cutaneous Laser Center.

As Director of the Cutaneous Laser Center, he has extensive experience in the laser treatment of port-wine birthmarks. He has published widely in the field of Pediatric dermatology. His research interests include studying the psychological aspects of hemangiomas.

Maureen Lyon, PhD

Maureen Lyon, Ph.D., is a Professor of Pediatrics in the Department of Pediatrics at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, and Clinical Health Psychologist at the Center for Translational Research at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C. Her research focuses on advance care planning interventions for persons living with serious illness, including cancer and HIV.
