Section Membership is open to the following Member types: ​

• Medical Students
• Residents
• Senior Members
• Specialty Fellows

Dues/year:

Medical Students and International Members - $0*
Residents - $10*
National Affiliates - $15*
All other National member types - $25*
Section Affiliates - $60

Section Affiliate membership

1. Physicians not eligible for membership in the Academy, whose practice or research includes the interfacility transport of pediatric patients.
   
   

   Applicants must submit:

   • Completed application and any necessary fees

2. Nurses whose clinical practice, research, or administrative responsibilities include the interfacility transport of pediatric patients.
   
   

   Applicants must submit:

   • Completed application and any necessary fees

   • A copy of nursing license

3. Respiratory care practitioners whose clinical practice, research, or administrative responsibilities include the interfacility transport of pediatric patients.
   
   

   Applicants must submit:

   • Completed application and any necessary fees

   • A copy of their state license (or documentation from a supervisor that licensure is not available in their state) and proof of certification or registration by the National Board of Respiratory Care.

4. Paramedics (EMT-P's) whose clinical practice, research, or administrative responsibilities include the interfacility transport of pediatric patients.
   
   

   Applicants must submit:

   • Completed application and any necessary fees

   • A copy of licensure by their state or by the National Registry of EMT-P's.

5. Neonatal/pediatric transport administrators who have direct responsibility for the overall management (fiscal, personnel, etc.) of a neonatal and/or pediatric inter-facility transport team.
   
   

   Applicants must submit:

   • Completed application and any necessary fees

   • A current CV

   • One letter of support from a Section member
