History of MidCaN

MidCaN (Mid-Career Neonatologists) is a special interest group within the American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (SoNPM), which was established in 2016 under the mentorship of Dr. Renate Savich and Dr. Andy Hopper with the support of Jim Couto and Monique Phillips. MidCaN is devoted to mid-career neonatologists (within 7-17 years of graduating fellowship) with the goal of providing resources, educational resources, career guidance and opportunities to network with other MidCaN and SoNPM members.
