If so, you know that the U.S. Senate introduced the Reach Every Mother and Child Act (S. 1451) in April 2021. The bill would make the position of maternal and child health coordinator at the U.S. Agency for International Development permanent - ensuring that maternal and child health are prioritized and coordinated across the agency's programs.

The Paid Family and Medical Leave Act

This new proposal would provide workers with up to 12 weeks of partial income when they take leave due to pregnancy, the birth of a child, the adoption of a child, or to care for a child or other family member with a serious health condition, among other reasons. The ABP and AAP are collaborating to bring you newly released state fact sheets on pediatric subspecialty shortages.  See how far children in each state need to travel to see subspecialists and encourage Congress to fund the Pediatric Subspecialty Loan Repayment Program to champion for pediatric subspecialists to serve children in underserved areas.
