Dues/year:  Medical Students, Fellowship Trainees and Residents - $0*, all other National member types - $25* Section Affiliates - $60

* In addition to national dues

Special Requirements:  Must be actively involved in some aspect of the ethical issues involved in the care of infants, children, adolescents, and young adults.

Section Affiliate membership

1. ​Licensed physicians who are not eligible for membership in the AAP.

Licensed Physician Affiliate applicants must submit:  

• One sponsor letter from a Fellow or Specialty Fellow

• Current copy of CV, resume or bio

2. Licensed allied health professionals actively involved in ethics committees.

Allied health professional applicants must submit:

• One sponsor letter from a Fellow or Specialty Fellow

• Copy of license if one exists in their field

• Current copy of CV, resume or bio

•  A short paragraph explaining why they want to join

3. Individuals from outside the healthcare field who have made significant professional contributions to the field of pediatric ethics.

Individuals outside the healthcare field must submit:

• One letter from a Fellow or Specialty Fellow detailing involvement in pediatric bioethics in academic or community settings.

• Current copy of CV, resume or bio

• A short paragraph explaining why they want to join
