Education and Web Learning Committees
The COQIPS Education Committee works to assess the need for, develop and provide educational materials and opportunities related to Quality Improvement and Patient Safety to meet the needs of AAP membership at large, other Councils and Committees within the Academy as well as the Council itself.
Committee on Guideline Development
The Committee on Guideline Development ensures that AAP clinical practice guidelines meet pre-determined standards for reviews and interpretation of evidence and both financial and intellectual transparency.
Patient Safety Committee
The Patient Safety Committee works to promote patient safety by educating clinicians about recognizing, reporting, disclosing, and preventing medical errors; particularly in the outpatient pediatric setting.
Implementation Committee
The Implementation Committee assists front line practitioners, quality improvement experts, administrators and policy makers to implement high yield quality improvement and patient safety projects, focusing on proven methodologies and rigorous implementation science.
