Mission
The mission of the COIVPP is to reduce the number of injuries, whether intentional or unintentional, to infants, children, adolescents, and young adults.
The Council will achieve this mission by identifying leading causes of injury, developing policy and resources for effective prevention, educating and engaging the pediatric community including families, advocating for public policy change, creating synergistic collaborations with partner organizations, and providing value to its membership.
Vision
Children are free from physical and psychological injuries and their consequences, and are living to their full potential.
