Andrew Sirotnak, MD, FAAP
Andrew Sirotnak, MD, FAAP, is a child abuse pediatrician, Director of the Child Protection Team, and Department Head for Child Abuse and Neglect at Children’s Hospital Colorado. He is a Professor of Pediatrics and Vice Chair for Faculty Affairs at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. A graduate of the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University, he completed pediatric residency in Wilmington, Delaware and Chief Residency in Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital Colorado, where he is also now the Program Director of the Child Abuse Pediatrics Fellowship within the Department of Pediatrics Kempe Center for the Prevention and Treatment of Child Abuse and Neglect. He has served on the Executive Committee of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Council on Child Abuse and Neglect, including two terms as chair; in 2016, the Award for Outstanding Service in Education Excellence was presented to the committee at the AAP Annual Leadership Forum.

Antoinette Laskey, MD, MPH, MBA, FAAP, is a child abuse pediatrician at the University of Utah and Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she is a Professor of Pediatrics and the medical director for the Center for Safe and Healthy Families. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine, where she also completed a pediatric residency. She completed her Master's of Public Health and a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master's of Business Administration at the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. She has served in many elected roles within the American Academy of Pediatrics since 1998, including Chair of the Section on Residents, Chair of the Section on Young Physicians, and Chair of the Section on Child Abuse and Neglect. She is currently on the Executive Committee of the Council on Child Abuse and Neglect.
