2025 President-Elect

Andrew D. Racine, M.D., Ph.D. is the System Senior Vice-President and Chief Medical Officer of the Montefiore Health System, Executive Director of the Montefiore Medical Group and Professor of Pediatrics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Racine received his M.D. and Ph.D. in economics from NYU and trained in pediatrics at the Boston Children’s Hospital. Upon his return to New York, he joined the faculty of Columbia University before being recruited to Einstein/Montefiore. Dr. Racine has been President of Chapter 3 in New York, served on the AAP’s National Committee On Child Health Financing and Chaired the National Task Force of Poverty and Child Health. He was recently appointed to the Board of Trustees of the National Bureau of Economic Research and serves on the Board of the New York Academy of Medicine.
