Each year, the AAP Committee on Native American Child Health presents the Native American Child Health Advocacy Award to recognize an individual (physician or non-physician) who has made a major contribution to promoting Native American child health.

Nomination Criteria
The award will recognize an individual who has made a major contribution to promoting Native American child health and exemplifies a lifelong commitment, equal to or greater than 10 years of service, to Native American children and their communities.
If you know of a health professional who merits this recognition, please use this SURVEY to submit nominees. The next nomination cycle opens in October 2024 for consideration for the 2024 award, nominations must be completed by December 20th. Nominations submitted after that date will be held for the next year.
Nominations from a spouse, partner, or family member are not permitted.
