Sports Health: A Multidisciplinary Approach
Sports Health: A Multidisciplinary Approach will launch in January 2009 with an exciting, educational array of topics from ACL injury prevention, reconstruction, and management, to the role of automated external defibrillators in athletics, to legal liabilities while covering athletic events. The first issue contains articles by some widely renowned clinicians, including Frank R. Noyes, MD, Mininder S. Kocher, MD, MPH, J. Parry Gerber, PhD, PT, SCS, ATC, Justin D. Rothmier, MD, and Sandra J. Shultz PhD, ATC, among many others.
“The caliber of authors and reviewers participating in Sports Health is outstanding. This publication provides the latest clinical insights on the complete care of the athlete from a variety of sports medicine disciplines,” said Sports Health, Editor-in-Chief, Edward Wojtys, MD.
Published bimonthly, Sports Health is a collaborative publication from the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine (AMSSM), the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA), the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine, and the Sports Physical Therapy Section (SPTS).
