Council on Community Pediatrics
The Council on Community Pediatrics (COCP), founded as the Section
on Community Pediatrics in 1970, stimulates interest, work, and
research in the organization of health services for children and
contributes to the development of guidelines and the maintenance
of standards for community health programs. In addition, the council
serves in a consulting capacity to the AAP Board of Directors
on topics in community pediatrics. Membership in the council is open to all Fellows of the Academy
with an interest in community pediatrics. The Council also accepts

Pediatrics has more than 1700 members and continues to grow. Council
