2009 Job Lewis Smith Award Recipient
Bronwen Anders, MD, MHA, FAAP
The 2009 Job Lewis Smith Award was presented to Bronwen Anders, MD, MHA, FAAP on Sunday, October 18, 2009 at the COCP's annual awards
luncheon.
Bronwen Anders, MD, MHA, FAAP has been working with pediatric residents in underserved multicultural settings of San Diego and Tijuana for 27 years. Her newest interests include developing global health curricula and opportunities for students and residents to participate in international humanitarian and disaster work. Her AAP work has included being chapter president for CA3, Community Access to Child Health (CATCH) work from local facilitator to chair of the district facilitators. She is currently on the executive committee of the Section on International Child Health, particularly focusing on the International Community Access to Child Health (I-CATCH) program and international Reach Out and Read efforts.
