The work of the Center is accomplished through two working committees, the Scientific Advisory Committee and the American Academy of Pediatrics Project Advisory Committee.
The Scientific Advisory Committee is the key working committee of the Richmond Center, which includes all Center Project Principal Investigators. Its role is to coordinate and facilitate expert input from project Principal Investigators, other key investigators, and external experts in tobacco control. The Scientific Advisory Committee serves as a resource for investigators for progress review, consultation, and collaboration and plays a leading role in the small grants and visiting lecturer programs. A list of the Scientific Advisory Committee members and contact information can be found at Scientific Advisory Committee Members Roster (pdf, 43K)
The American Academy of Pediatrics Project Advisory Committee consists of representatives of key Academy constituencies who provide oversight and review of the Center of Excellence activities and projects. The Project Advisory Committee reports to the Academy Board through the Advisory Committees to the Board. A list of Advisory Committee members and contact information can be found at Project Advisory Committee Members Roster (pdf, 38K)
