The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) maintains an electronic media mailing list of reporters, editors, writers, and TV and radio producers. We welcome journalists who wish to be added to the list.

The AAP weekly mailing includes news releases and news briefs based on upcoming studies and policy statements in Pediatrics, the peer-reviewed, scientific journal of the AAP. The mailing also contains information on other AAP initiatives.

The mailing is issued each Tuesday. The information is embargoed until the following Monday at 12:01 am (ET) unless otherwise indicated. By asking to be placed on the AAP media mailing list, journalists agree to abide by the terms of our embargo policy. The mailing arrives in your e-mail box a week before the embargo is lifted, allowing time for you to assign and localize stories. No story can be printed or broadcast during the embargo. (The mailing is also posted to the AAP News Room weekly, after the embargo is lifted.)
