Please be advised that the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Office of the Division of Life Support Programs will be closed December 24, 2009 – January 3, 2010. No customer service, roster processing, card fulfillment, PIN purchases, or letters of verification will be available during this time. Please be mindful of your year-end credential concerns and plan accordingly.
Instructors will still be able to access the NRP online database and submit rosters while the offices are closed.
If you need to request replacement cards, please do so by the end of the business day on December 22nd. Our last mailing will be the morning of December 23rd.
While we will make our best effort to respond to requests when the AAP reopens on January 4, 2010, please be aware that it may take some time to fulfill the backlog of requests.
The Neonatal Resuscitation Program is an educational program that introduces the concepts and basic skills of neonatal resuscitation. Completion of the program does not imply that an individual has the competence to perform neonatal resuscitation. Each hospital is responsible for determining the level of competence and qualifications required for someone to assume clinical responsibility for neonatal resuscitation.
