Emeritus Fellow

Any member who has been a Fellow or Specialty Fellow in good standing for a minimum of 30 years and who has reached the age of 65 years is eligible for national Emeritus Fellowship.

Emeritus Fellows retain all Fellow benefits and privileges with the exception of serving as a national officer of the Academy. Pediatrics online is included with membership, with an option to purchase a print subscription for a special membership price.

Retired Fellow

Any member who has been a Fellow of Specialty Fellow in good standing for a minimum of five years, has reached the age of 55 years, and no longer derives income from professional activities is eligible for membership as a Retired Fellow.

Retired Fellows retain all Fellow benefits and privileges with the exception of serving as a national officer of the Academy. Pediatrics and AAP News online is included with membership, with an option to purchase a print subscription for a special membership price.
