CATCH Resident Funds Program

The 2010 Call for Proposals is Now Available

Applications due 2:00 pm central time July 31, 2009
Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application review by 12/31/09

The Community Access to Child Health (CATCH) Resident Funds program supports pediatric residents in the planning of community-based child health initiatives. Grants of up to $3,000 are awarded twice each year on a competitive basis for pediatric residents to address the needs of children in their communities. CATCH Resident Funds grant projects must include planning activities or demonstrate prior planning activities and may include implementation activities. Resident grants are available twice a year—May to July, during the CATCH Planning Funds grant cycle, and November to January, during the CATCH Implementation Funds grant cycle.

Contact your Chapter CATCH Facilitator and your District Resident CATCH Liaison to discuss your ideas for a CATCH grant project and to obtain assistance with proposal development.

CATCH would like to show you how easy it is to get assistance with proposal development. Please send a brief paragraph describing the idea for your project to catch@aap.org, and you will receive help from your Chapter CATCH Facilitator, Resident CATCH Liaison and/or ur CATCH program coordinator. Please send this information as soon as possible.

The 2010 Cycle 1 CATCH Resident Funds program is administered by the AAP CATCH Program and is supported by Wyeth and individual donations through the AAP Friends of Children Fund.
